Flavored Decaf French Press Coffee
Black Rifle Coffee Company Just Decaf coffee with creamer and a choice of three SweetLeaf Sweet Drops flavors.
Ingredients
- 1½ tablespoons Black Rifle Coffee Company Just Decaf coffee
- 18 ounces water
- 3 tablespoons creamer
- Choose one flavor: 4 drops SweetLeaf Sweet Drops Chocolate Raspberry or 4 drops SweetLeaf Sweet Drops Chocolate or 6 drops SweetLeaf Sweet Drops Vanilla Cream
Preparation
- Put 1½ tablespoons Black Rifle Coffee Company Just Decaf coffee into the French press.
- Add 18 ounces hot water and let the coffee steep for 2 to 5 minutes.
- While it steeps, put 3 tablespoons creamer and one selected sweetener flavor into the cup: 4 drops SweetLeaf Sweet Drops Chocolate Raspberry, 4 drops SweetLeaf Sweet Drops Chocolate, or 6 drops SweetLeaf Sweet Drops Vanilla Cream. Do not combine flavors.
- Press the French-press plunger halfway down, lift it back up, press halfway down again, lift again, then push fully down.
- Pour the brewed coffee into the prepared cup.
- Use a handheld frother across the bottom of the cup three or four times, then move it up and down to produce foam on top.
- Rinse the frother and French press. Turn the clean frother on briefly to spin off excess water.
From the creator's kitchen
This is the creator's own French-press coffee, distinct from Tom's everyday cup. She uses Black Rifle Coffee Company Just Decaf and changes the Sweet Drops flavor according to what appeals to her that day. Choose exactly one flavor per preparation; never combine the flavors. Chocolate Raspberry and Chocolate each use 4 drops; Vanilla Cream uses 6 drops.
The coffee package is identified by its “JD” marking on the front. The creamer quantity is recorded as provided, without assuming the brand or size of the serving cup.
