Important: historical reference only
The creator confirms she never made or tested this mixture. It was written down in case she needed a homemade toothpaste. The original note offers no safety testing, known mineral preparation, defined myrrh form, or specific essential oil identity. Do not treat the handwritten use directions as evidence of safety.
Bentonite clay, baking soda and salt may raise abrasivity or contamination questions depending on the products and formulation; castile soap and concentrated essential oils are not automatically suitable for use in the mouth, even when described as food-grade. The recipe has no fluoride and should not be assumed to offer equivalent cavity protection to fluoride toothpaste. Consult a dental professional before attempting a homemade formula; a properly formulated commercial fluoride toothpaste remains the established option for cavity prevention.
Transcription note: “Myrrh” and “liquid minerals” are not specified further in the notebook. This page preserves the text without filling in unknowns.
