Cottage Cheese Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 small packages lemon Jell-O (package weights not specified)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 carton small-curd cottage cheese (carton size not specified)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 carrots, grated
  • 1 medium green pepper, chopped
  • Dehydrated onion (quantity not specified)

Prepare

Directions

  1. Combine the ingredients, dissolving the gelatin in the boiling water before mixing in the remaining ingredients.
  2. Mix well and refrigerate until chilled and set before serving.

Kitchen Notes

The source gives only 'Mix & chill before serving.' Dissolving gelatin first is an editorial preparation clarification. Package and carton sizes, as well as the amount of dehydrated onion, were not printed.
