Kitchen and Family Notes

Makes approximately 3 dozen. Family history: these were baked every Christmas. The family recipe was passed down from the owner's mother's stepmother, predating its appearance in the 1990 collection. Preserve separately from Sherry Weed’s similarly named cookies.

Archival recipe preserved from the original source; no new kitchen test claimed.
