Ingredients

  • 1 part distilled water
  • 1 part rubbing alcohol
  • 1 part distilled white vinegar
  • 2 drops Seventh Generation dish soap (brand noted)
  • 20 drops essential oil (tea tree, lavender, peppermint or sweet orange)

Surface and chemical considerations

Vinegar and alcohol may harm floor finishes. Do not combine with bleach or other cleaners. Rubbing alcohol is flammable and essential oils may be unsuitable in homes with pets. Test surfaces and follow flooring manufacturers’ directions.
