Grandma’s Dessert (My Grandmothers)

Ingredients
- Cake: 1 cup flour
- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup chopped walnuts
- Sauce: ½ cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Mix cake ingredients and spread in a baking pan.
- Mix sauce ingredients and pour sauce over the raw dough.
- Bake approximately 30 minutes at 350°F, or until done.
