Mother’s Rose Water

Ingredients

  • 12 drops rose oil
  • 1 cup distilled water

Directions

  1. Add the rose oil and distilled water to a pint jar.
  2. Shake well.

Notebook notes

Mother calls this “Rose Water,” but it is water combined with rose oil rather than rose hydrosol produced by distillation. No use or shelf life is given.

Care notes

Essential oil does not dissolve in water, even when shaken, and can contact skin in concentrated droplets. This is not a preserved cosmetic and should not be assumed safe for facial use or prolonged storage.
