No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Raisin Cookies

A food-processor cookie created to use extra raisins, and made frequently because Tom liked cookies.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup peanut butter
  • ¼ cup plus 3 tablespoons raisins
  • ¼ teaspoon salt (handwritten unit appears to be tsp; confirm)
  • 2 tablespoons peanuts
  • Vanilla: “⅛” (unit not specified clearly)
  • 1–2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • Chocolate chips, amount unspecified

Notebook method

  1. Put the ingredients in a food processor and blend until very smooth. The creator recalls grinding the surplus raisins with the other ingredients.
  2. Roll the blended mixture into balls, then press them down to form cookies.

Preparation note: The amount and timing of adding the chocolate chips are not separately specified in the notebook.

From the Creator’s Kitchen

The creator made these cookies often for Tom, who loved cookies. They had received a large quantity of raisins, so she devised a way to use them by grinding them in the food processor with the other ingredients. This is a tried recipe, not an untested conversion.

Awaiting measurement clarification: The raisin quantity has been confirmed by the creator as ¼ cup plus 3 tablespoons. The vanilla unit and chocolate-chip quantity still need confirmation.
